Christmas 2010

Christmas 2010 was full of family, love, gifts, food, laughter and memories.

 Cousinly love.
 My handsome boy.
Getting all 6 kids to stand still is not easy.
This was the best picture I could get.
Memories.
Here is a glimpse into the "craziness" of the Steele Family Christmas at my parents on Christmas Eve.
Love the excitement and sparkle in the kid's eyes.

Matching Jammies.  Do you see they are holding hands?  Cuties.

We decided to leave Santa rootbeer instead of milk.
Seri thought it was so silly.
Jett didn't make it to see the letter.  He fell fast asleep on the way home my Grandy and Papas.
Too much excitement for the little man.
 Look what Santa brought!

Jett ate his chocolate Santa for breakfast.  Only on Christmas, right?

My first time making Cinnamon Rolls completely from scratch!  They were DELICIOUS!  A new tradition for sure.

One of my gifts for Seri was a cute photo necklace.  That was Jett and Seri's first Thanksgiving together.  THANKS Etsy!

One of my Christmas presents...new Fiestaware.
Thanks Mom!

Merry Christmas

All I Want for Christmas...

is my 2 front teeth!

Yep, there are no front teeth left.  The second one came out tonight.  Suuuuuper cute!
Our tooth fairy pillow has been getting good use lately.
She is sitting under Seri's Christmas tree tonight waiting for the Tooth Fairy.

Gingerbread and Jammies

We made our first Gingerbread House together this morning...in our jammies, ofcourse.  It went better than I expected.  That frosting is amazing...dries rock hard in minutes.  You have to be quick!

Seri did most of the decorating.  I worked on the front door, she did the roof, yard, sidewalk, the fence and all the bushes.
This is her second time this year after making one at school, so she is an old pro.

I was a mess!  Messier than the kids.

Jett didn't do as much decorating as he did eating the extra frosting I made...not the stuff from the box.  I don't know if that stuff is edible.

It turned out adorable and is now our centerpiece on the table.  Love it!

I'm not quite sure...

what's going on here.
Socks,
sandals on the wrong feet,
a princess pull-up (he only wears at night usually),
backwards underwear and
chocolate all over his face.
I could barely get him to slow down for this picture.

My boy.

Singing at the Nursing Home

We went to a local nursing home today so the kids
could sing for them.
They were so cute.

Jett's Preschool Christmas Program

"Kaffy, don't I look handsome?" is what he says at the end.

Here she is...the famous Kathy.  Jett's preschool teacher and daycare provider.  Believe it or not, she took care of me when I was in Kindergarten.  We ADORE her.  She is one of Jett's favorite people in the whole world.  He loves his "Kaffy".

She buys gifts for ALL the kids she has had through the years.  Amazing.  She is a blessing to our family.
We love her and are so thankful for her.

I want...

these BOOKSHELVES!
In the kid's room, the basement,
their playroom and in my classroom!
They could be filled with books, pictures and artwork.  LOVE!

A Trolley Ride With Santa

These pictures tell all.
Today was one of my all time favorite days with Jett and Seri.
HUGE snowflakes falling and HUGE smiles on their faces the whole time we rode the trolley downtown with Santa.
