Paint in my hair

We took on a project today.

Together.

We painted our outdoor table

and all our chairs.

Including some free ones I found on the side of the road one day.

The kids loved it.

They worked together.

Did not argue.

We had fun and boh fo they take

pride in the table now.

First dinner on the painted table. Yum.

An hour of reading after dinner in a cozy spot.

Perfect day...

even with paint in my hair.

Our neighborhood

Walking in my old neighborhood is one of my favorite things to do. I love looking at everyone's beautiful homes. I love the character and the pride everyone takes in their home.



The trees. Oh my. Beautiful.














And to top it off...a neighborhood library.



One more reason I love it here.

Summer vacation has begun...

and we are loving every minute of it.
