Seri's Birthday Trip to Seattle

This year Seri chose to take a trip to Seattle to celebrate her 10th birthday. 

Her list of things to do included:
1.  Alki Beach
2.  Gum Wall
3.  Aquarium
4.  Shopping
5.  Hotel
6.  Explore

Boy, did we do all of those and more. 
We had
SO
MUCH

Awesome Quick Dinner

I saw this recipe on Clover Lane and we tried it out tonight.  

DELICIOUS.  

The kids loved it and it was super easy.  Our Friday night "pizza and a movie" will now be these little pizzas.  Some salad and veggies and we had a quick dinner. 

 YUM.

Hmm...I wonder if they make whole wheat rolls. 

A Quick Dinner Kids Love

The Rhodes dinner rolls are in the frozen food section.  They only take about an hour to thaw and even quicker if you use the fast thaw method on the back of the package.
I use a generous amount of olive oil…that’s the secret to a good homemade pizza I think.  My kids love to make their pizzas themselves.  Sometimes though, I just sneak and do it quickly by myself because…well, you know why.  It’s easier, and less messy, and there are no fights about anyone hogging the pepperoni slices.  I don’t need arguments over pepperoni slices at 5:00 pm, do you?  I didn’t think so.I bake mine at 400 degrees, maybe 10 or so minutes, middle oven rack.
