A Beautiful Spring Day.

It was a BEAUTIFUL day in our little town. To enjoy the sun,
we headed out to the
Arbor Festival.
It was a great place to spend the afternoon on a lovely spring day.

Fresh

Fresh flowers in the house are
one of my favorite things,
especially when they are free.
Thank you Mrs. Lilac Bush.

Driving home this evening:

Jett:  "Mom, Mom, (he sometimes repeats himself) can you open up the drapes and and the window tonight?
Mama:  "Why buddy?"
Jett:  "So, so I can wish upon a star."

Favorite Person.

Scene: While changing the sheets on the bed tonight (one of my least favorite things to do.)  Jett laid on the floor watching.

Jett:  "Mom...do you know who my favorite person in the whole wide world is?"
Mama:  Who buddy?
Jett:  You, of course.  I love you.
Mama:  You know who my favorite little boy is in the whole wide world?
Jett:  I know.  It's Jett.  That's me.

What if I had two little mans?

That would be crazy.

Seri lost her 6th tooth tonight!  It fell out while I was brushing her teeth.

Her glasses also came in.  Adorable.  They make her look so grown up.

Makes me sad.  She's growing up.

Spring break starts tomorrow afternoon.

I need spring!

Took another trip to Home Depot this weekend.
It's my favorite place lately.
The sun was shining.  The birds were chirping.
They are just beginning to get in some plants and had amazing prices on huge arbs and boxwoods.
I smelled herbs, bought lettuce, and picked up some plants for my front porch.
Most of all...I got excited for spring.

These recycled rubber tiles are pretty cool.
The come in different designs.

Oh blue hyacinths.  I adore you.
One in my kitchen window is a must.  The smell is amazing.

Yellow and orange ranunculus.
(Hmm...one for the kitchen table.  One for my table at school for conferences.)
L.O.V.E.

I need two of these for my front porch.

Saturday was sunny.
Sunday was RAINING and FREEZING!
Come on spring!
