Funny Things
I need to start writing down the funny things Jett says so that I will never forget his 3 year old humor.
Today he was staring at himself in the big mirror in the living room with his mouth wide open. He stuck his hand in his mouth to what I thought was to touch his teeth. He runs across the room yelling, "Mom, Mom I have a wiener thing in the back of my mouth. Look!" I laugh because it does look like a little wiener. I then tell him that it is his tonsils. (Yet, later after googling tonsils, I discover I am wrong. It is called the uvula. Hmm. Never knew that.) Anyways, he says "Oh. OK." and runs off to do something else. Funny.

Our trip to the beach was amazing. It was so fun to watch the kids play in the sand and ocean for the first time. Seri ran in and out of the ocean over and over and Jett did a lot of digging and throwing sand. On the fourth of July, it was FREEZING outside so we ditched the beach and watched the beautiful fireworks cuddled up in our hotel room. 100 pictures later, here are a few of my favorites.

Bowl Full of Cherries!
We got home last night and were exhausted from our wonderful trip to the beach. Just as the kids were finally settling down for bed and I was about to tackle putting away our HUGE pile of stuff, my wonderful neighbor brought over a bag of yummy cherries she picked for us. So sweet.Some delicious cherries were just what I needed. Putting away stuff wasn't so bad after all.
