Farsighted

Yep, my little lady is farsighted.

After noticing she pulls her books really close to her to read, we took a trip to the eye doctor this morning just to make sure.  Come to find out...she needs glasses.

We are now waiting for the arrival of her bright pink glasses.

I can't believe how grown up it makes her look.
She did have fun trying all of them on.  
She was pretty adamant she wanted pink...so pink is what she got.

First Day of Basketball

My little lady had 2 practices tonight!  

First off to soccer after a quick snack at home.  

Then to her FIRST basketball practice.  

Can you tell how excited she was?  

Seriously, SUPER EXCITED all day!

Here she is.

I want to remember this day as it is her 

VERY first basketball practice.  

I am sure we will have MANY MANY MANY more to come and they won't all be as exciting as today.

This is her buddy Henry from school.  

(I am working on a pre-arranged marriage.  

Seriously, how cute is he? And boy he is sooo sweet. )

Pretty exciting night.  Although it was hard to break our nightly routine, it was worth it to see my little lady's HUGE smile.

I got new pans!  Yipee!

Should I be worried?

Is it bad that my little man knows how to maneuver 

around my iphone?  

Of course all the apps are educational (reading, counting, alphabet).  How else do I get through a rainy soccer practice stuck in the car because the playground toys are wet?  

The Read Me Stories got us through today.  A story is read to him and he gets to turn the pages.  He loved it and it gave me 5 minutes of getting to actually watch Seri practice.
