My boy fell asleep at 5:15 while waiting in the car during Seri's piano practice.
He slept through soccer practice.
He slept while I carried him in.
He slept all night until 6:15 this morning.
Growing?
I think so.

Busy Saturday

Today we had Seri's last basketball game at the same time as Jett's first soccer game. I hate having to miss one but luckily today was the only time it will happen this season. Then Seri had a soccer game this afternoon. Phew! Good thing the sun was shining. It was a busy beautiful day.

We are now cuddled up by the fire resting.

Scuba Steve...

loves wearing his goggles in the bathtub.
He dives.
He explores.
He splashes.
He sings.
He swims
and there was even a bathtub bridge (gymnastics type bridge) tonight.

I'm in love with Scuba Steve.

Jett's Art

Jett doesn't draw as much as he used to but when he gets inspired he can focus on his project for hours. Tonight's project was Super Heroes. I love his motivation and his attention to detail. He is a better artist at 5 then I have ever been.

School Work

One of my favorite times of day is when we get home after school and the kids show me their work from school. We celebrate successes and talk about what we could do better on. Their display their favorite work on the fridge, in the hallway or in thrift scrapbooks got the year. The teacher in me loves to watch them learn and grow as a learner.
