Field Day

Today we spent the afternoon outside celebrating our year together with games, water, snow cones, pop and a whole lot of fun.  

Tomorrow is the last day of school.  

Summer begins at 11:10.  Yes!

My little lady will no longer be in Kindergarten.  Sad and exciting at the same time.

Better.

Today was better.  
No headache.  
Got some laundry done and can now see the floor of the laundry room.  
Had a great celebration of our year together in Kindergarten.  


2 more days.

Plus, I got these.  My love letters from my sweeties.  Always a surprise.  Always have to close my eyes to receive them.  Always love them.     

Muah!  (Is that how you spell it?)

Don't I look great in Jett's portrait of me?  He cut it out and wrote Mom all by himself.  Melts my heart.

until summer vacation.

and I won't need an alarm clock.

until my little lady is no longer in Kindergarten.

and I will no longer be my sweet girl's teacher.
3 more days
to finish my to do list.
3 more days 
and then maybe I can catch up on my laundry.
3 more days
and maybe this headache will go away.


I'm stressed.  
I'm tired.  
I'm having a bad day.  
I'm busy.
I'm giving my darn cats medicine twice a day which is not fun.
I have a laundry room full of laundry.
I have an inpatient 4 year.
I have a sneaky 7 year old.
I have to hand water grass seed that I planted over the weekend twice a day and as I do I pray it will grow.  Please Lord.  Grow.
I don't know what I will be teaching next year.
I have smashed cookies for our celebration tomorrow because the Walmart checker put them on their side.  Grrr.
The crows in my front tree are driving me CrAzY!
I haven't started packing my room up yet for the 4th year in a row because I don't know where I am going.


I can make it.  3 more days.  Please Lord, help me make it.


Tomorrow will be a better day...I hope.

On the bright side...we did have a nice weekend.  We played.  We relaxed.  We visited friends.  Jett wore his Flash costume the whole weekend and to school today.  


More of these days are what I am looking forward to.

My little man did not want to get up this morning.  

Good thing we only have 5 more days of school.

My little lady got to pick anywhere she wanted to go for dinner for making it to the 50 mile club.  

She is such a sweetie pie.

They are here.

I have been anxiously awaiting my 

peonies to bloom.  

Well, they are here and they are BEAUTIFUL.  

I love them.  They make me happy inside.

  What else do I love?  

My little man has been working hard coloring pictures for all of his friends.  

So sweet.  He is putting them in his bag for preschool tomorrow.

We had an amazing day today and and an even better weekend.  We spent 90% of our time outside.  Yard work, planting and recovering cushions/pillows for Mama and play, play, play 

for the little people.  

So much fun.

Miss thing didn't want to get out of bed this morning.  I'm pretty sure she was annoyed with her Mama and brother.  Tough love.
