First soccer practice ever

Tonight was Jett's first practice of any kind.  

Dad is even the coach.

So cute to watch little 4 and 5 year olds run around.

Plus only 3 were there.  

I can't wait for their games.

Learning, learning, learning

My boy is LOVING to LEARN!  

He is building words, trying to read, writing his numbers and of course drawing.    

Pretty impressive for my little 5 year old.  

Is this not the cutest writing ever?

He wears his "reading glasses" every night when we read in bed.

New gate

Have I ever told you we have awesome neighbors.  We do.  

This summer the kids have been playing a lot with the neighbor boy and we had this marvelous idea to put a gate between our fences so they could go back and forth between yards.  I can now see into their yard from the kitchen windows and the kids could not be MORE excited.  I know so many memories are going to be made in the years to come playing together outside.

 Um...as to Jett's outfit.  Well, we swam at the neighbors house and he went to change and came back in this pajama mix...in the middle of the day.

He's awesome, right?  No fear.

Does Seri look SUPER tall or what?  Wow.

Yep, she's a tad strange but boy do we love her.  

Sick day

My boy has an awful cough and runny nose. The doctor thinks it may be the smoke from the fires in the air. Anyway...we were home today. Just the two of us. We snuggled, read books, painted and watched a movie. I'm still in my sweats. Awesome day.

I love sunflowers.
