Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!

We have SOOOOO much snow.
It has been snowing for days.
I can't remember the last time we had this much.
I love every minute of it.
It is beautiful.

We have had a big carrot in our fridge since Christmas waiting for our chance to make a snowman.  I have wanted to throw it away so many times but I am so glad I kept it.
How cute is our snowman?
I hope he lasts for a long time.
He looks so cute in our backyard.

Nothing better than hot chocolate and a cozy fire to warm up cold little fingers and toes

Snow Day

No School!
Let's go sledding!
Today we headed out in our winter wonderland to play in the snow with some of our favorite friends.

We had a fun morning, but the cold was a little too much for this boy.

Snow!

My boy has waited and waited and waited for snow.  It came today and he was THRILLED!

Monday Craft

The other day while at the craft store the kids saw paper doilies.  They remembered our project from last year (check it out here) so we decided to try it again. I love how they look.

I love it.
Gives the kitchen some happy color.
They also had large hearts which I think I may use in the classroom.
Happy Monday!

One more day.

It's been a nice relaxing weekend and we still have one more day.  Aaaah.  So nice.
I made them pancakes using their favorite color.  Jett's was supposed to be red, not pink.

Seri loves blue...like her Mama.
Paperwhites.
My favorite.
We were out of band aids so Mama had to make a homemade one.
 Our poor cats.
I cleaned all the projects off the fridge.
We can see the alphabet again.
I have kept Seri's snowman from Kindergarten out in hopes it would bring snow.  NO SNOW.  We have had no snow since November.  It has been such a strange winter.

Tonight I noticed I take a lot of pictures of Seri right here.  Why?  We have a mirror on the wall and she is constantly dancing in front of it.
Jett found Scout at the Goodwill  yesterday and has carried him everywhere since (after a good cleaning, of course.)  $1.00 has brought a lot of fun already.
Thank you cards were finally written.
I went a little crazy in the dollar section at Michaels.  They have the cutest cards, wrapping paper and journals right now.
Clara is still staring at shadows.  Wherever we are, she is with us, usually in the corner staring.
 Henry needs a haircut.
That boy can grow some hair.
 Don't you love the outfit?

I thought I would do a little project this afternoon.  After I saw these little letters were on sale, we headed to the store to pick them up to find out all the E's were sold.  Soooo my project is on hold.
Can you figure out what it is supposed to say?

It is so nice to have no
"Sunday night blues".
It's even better to have
one more day.

Did you know?

Did you know I love to snack on these cuties all day?  Yum.
Did you know that we have a HUGE goldfish that lives in a jar in the kitchen?
Her name is Norma.
She stares at me when I am doing the dishes.
Did you know I am starting a rock collection?  These have been made for me by my little artist.  They all say Mom on the back.
I will keep them forever.
Did you know that I love to have my fingernails painted but haven't in years because they chip literally the same day I paint them?
Well...I had them "shalaced" (spelling??) and I am on day 3 and NO chipping.
Painted fingernails make me smile.
Did you know we are still in love with Clara?  Even though she barks in the car AND she tripped me the other day on our walk as she was trying to bark at dogs on both sides of the street.  People saw and didn't ask if I was OK.  I was, of course.
Clara's new collar came today.  Turquoise polka dots with a pink buckle.  She likes it.  Looks good on her while she stares at shadows.
Thank you Etsy.
Did you know that we now have a Money Making Machine in our hallway?  It's pretty sweet.  You put dollars in and out comes change.  We are going to use it when we fly to Florida to see the ocean.  This is all according to Jett.
Did you know I finally persuaded my parents to let me babysit their treadmill?  It now lives in my basement and I have used it 7 out of the 9 days of January.  Love it.  Tonight the kids did their "homework" as I walked.
Did you know we have a 3 1/2 day weekend?  I can't wait.
